I have long straight hair and i have been thinking about perming it, i don't know how it will look after i wash it and people tell me that your hair doesn't go back to straigh so easy after you perm it.

After you get a perm, you should wait at least 72 hours before washing it. Otherwise you may end up with a frizzy mess. Your hair will not go back to being straight until it grows out completely. It's really up to you, but perms require commitment. You'll have to make sure you condition your hair well. I loved my perms, but I ended up with damaged hair so I had to take a break from perming.

There are chemicals to get your hair straight, but they do quite a lot of damage to your hair. Try a semi-permanent perm (I think they have those) just to test it out and see if you like it. Only do it if you're comfortable with it - if you have your doubts, think it over a little longer before you make your final decision.

NO, I recommend you not perm it, i did it cuz i had straight hair as well and i regret it i did it 5 months ago and my hair is soo dry and tough, also my older sis did in the 90's and and her hair isn't the same. if you want curls go old school and just use foam rollers.

Well it's PERM (permanent)....so once u perm it ..that's it say good-bye to your straight hair until it grows out...also the damage is daring!.....

But curly hair is really sexy so if u really are tired of ur straight hair..I say go for it!!

sure dear, it's nice to give some change into your look. Your face is long in length and your hair are sticky with your dead so if you perm your hair with light streaking in it. definitely you'll look nice and your face will not look long in length.
Just try for that.
