what do professional hair stylists use to color hair?

So I've been highlighting my hair about every 6-8 weeks for 6 years now and I've realized that I've spent WAY too much money on my hair. What brands of bleach do professional hair stylists use to highlight hair? Where could I buy these professional products myself? Also, for all you professionals out there, what's a good brand if I want to get my hair more white blonde than gold blone?

Go to Sally's Beauty Supplies or if there is not one where you live do a search on Yellowpages.com for Beauty Supplies Stores in your area. You can buy the hair dye for like $4.00 a bottle and then you have to mix it with developer and that costs like $8.00 but it's a big bottle and you can use it multiply times. You should not use straight bleach though that will ruin your hair. Try buying a color that has Ash in it, like "Ash Blonde", never buy a color that has gold in it if your hair already has gold undertones or always turns to gold when you dye it. My hair has alot of gold undertones so I found if I use Ash colors I get the color I want. The people who work there can help you pick a good color and tell you how much developer to mix in. I dyed my own hair for many years, but now that I can afford to go to a salon I will never do my own hair again. No matter how much you know about dye, a professional can always do a better job.

I can tell you what not to buy don't buy the Loreal Professional kit in the red box that has the dye and highlights both it fried my hair. If you use a color stripper you can strip all the color out than color over it with that platinum shade you desire. Feria is the best for at home brands and they also sell to the salons.

proffesional hair stylelist use regular coloring or some hairstylelist that think they r better and toxic crap like toxic coloring that burns your haed!! So there you go use this answer wisly because it is the best answer to the freaken question!!
