well i think ur best friend might get mad about that because now all that u will be thinking of is him and maybe she wont accept that and she will be hiding everything away from u but if u really love her bro and u really wanna go out with him then no one could ever break this true love between u and him but if u really like ur best friend and u care about this relation ship and u don't want it to end then don't

I do not think it is a good idea, just because if something happens to the relationship it will be very akward for you to cantinue being friends with the relative, so my guess is DO Not Do It, these relationships rarely work out, to me its like dating your best friends x-bofriend.

Well i reeli can't say if it is or isn't, but if u think its ok then go ahead. if not, then dont. If you think its going to jepordize your friendship and you care about your friendship a lot, you might not wanna think about it. If you don't think it would ruin anything, then go ahead.
