Is it true that closure helps a broken heart heal? A relationship that lasted for over a year abruptly ends with no explaination. It been 2 months since my ex just stopped talking to me. I want to know what happened cuz it haunts me everyday.... Should I make that call so I can healthy move on to a better relationship?

If he's stopped talking without any explanation, is he worth the trouble, is he really good enough for you? Forget him and move on.

All the best in life!

you should call him. it's your right to find out what happened because 1 year is quite a long time.
About closure...it never "healed" my heart but it made it more easy for me to move on and continue my life Evan if some feelings remained alive. Time is what heals the heart but try to keep in mind that a relationship is not like a vacation..when it's over you take all your stuff and leave...you always leave something behind...like a little piece of your heart...you will never be the same again (in a good or a bad way..it depends on the person..some become better persons and some worst)
You shoul talk to him because he owns you an explanation. It will help you in your future relationships so you will not make the same mistake twice (in case it's something you did)

I wouldn't see this person unless you're willing to run the risk of becoming involved again. If you must know then call them, but do not go over there. There is a reason it ended. For good or bad I wouldn't go back. Let your heart heal.

Sometimes closure helps... and sometimes it hurts. You're going to want to know. Make one call -- and if he doesn't tell you in that ONE call, move on without an explanation.

Sometimes a "rebound relationship" helps.

The soul mate relationship isn’t hard to figure out.

But, sometimes, we need to regroup within ourselves to realize why things just never seem to be within our reach.

make up a story that you can live with... due to his life threatening illness "billy" had to suddenly end his lengthy relationship with "jill" because he couldnt stand to have "jill" see him fade away like that. He can only hope that someday "jill" will be able to forgive him and know how much he loved her. blah blah blah

You cheated on him. You know that and know that's why he stopped talking to you. Why did you cheat on him ? Why ?
