Yes, many Christians like myself have questioned the Bible. I did it when my father died, and again when my grandmother (a great Christian lady) died.
Keep reading the Bible and pray. God will show you the way.

The Bible is a great book of morals, but as far as I'm concerned it dosn't really satisfy my questions about who I really am, who God really is, why I'm here, and my question about death. There are existing revealed scriptures that go much deeper into these questions, in a more precise and timely way. In the material world death is imminent for all of us, one way or the other, some time or the other. But it is not the end of us. It is the end of the body that we are in, but never the end of us. We are spirit soul, and we are eternal, as we are part of the Supreme Soul, God. Our desires take us to different types of material bodies, and someday we will desire to be loving God completely again, and then we'll have our spiritual body once again. With our human intellect we are meant to understand these things...God will never cheat us or keep the Truth from us. He never withholds anything from us...esp. His love and desire for us to be happy. We just have to want that Truth...no matter what.

No. Physical reality is a passing facade. Especially now. And especially if you've been looking at end time prophecy, with a Strongs' Exhaustive Concordance, using a King James version. I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. Really.
" ... for what is your life? It is a vapor that dureth for a little while .. "
" ... LORD remember that I am but dust ... " " ... my days are as a weavers' shuttle ... "

all the time- the bible itself goes against its own beliefs and it has been altered toooooo many times in order to give church power over the people-
i just follow the 'karma' belief of reincarnation and how we have average 180 lives to live based on 7 soul ages/levels and 7 characters
and how you choose how you want your background to be based...so on - kinda hard to understand unless you read a dozen books on it :)
in the bible...it may say one thing, but then a few pages onward, it'll say the exact opposite as previously said -

Just because someone- or a group of people- put something in writing and call it a fact does not make it that.
Question everything, make an educated decision whatever it is.
Don't buy into something just because you think you should...

No. Don't you think He takes care of us after we die? God will put us all in our proper place. It's pitiful though that some won't ever see Heaven.
