Stop doing all of the above, wash with shampoo for color treated hair, use a conditioner, get a trim to prevent further splitting and you may laugh, but this works...2 times a week, slather your hair with mayonnaise, let it sit for 30 to 45 minutes, rinse and shampoo out.

Joico has an amazing reconstructor, called K-PAK (around $30), you put it in your hair for 20 mins, every week and wash and seriously, I spent 3 years dying my hair and it was pretty bad and this stuff makes my hair like silk.
