Chatting is ok.
Unless the person lives close enough and they would want to meet.
That would be outa the picture.
You cant control who the other person is talking to in life, so why try and control who they are talking to online??
The mate should be talking to you though and only be talking to the others online if you arent available :)

it would depends on what they were talking about and if they had been talking before we started dating if you can't trust him to not talk to other females or males about things that are not appropriate to talk to with the opposite sex when he/she is in a relationship with you then you should not be in that relationship and if they are doing so they should be broke up with because they are not being faithful

I wouldn't mind it, as long as he was being honest about everything. As long as the person he's talking to knows that he's married and that he isn't looking for anything then its okay. It's when people hide things and lie that things get ugly.

not at all, im a big believer that men and women can have different gender friendships, i have mainly male friends, so i wouldnt mind my partner having female friends it would be a little hypocritical, if i did, ....plus no matter what you do ....if there gonna go then theyre gonna go, it all comes down to trust,
