Some ofit is trial and error. But if it makes you feel better without making you feel like a zombie, then it should be right for you.

Anxiety is often accompanied by physical symptoms, including:
Twitching or trembling
Muscle tension, headaches
Sweating
Dry mouth, difficulty swallowing
Abdominal pain (may be the only symptom of stress, especially in a child)
Sometimes other symptoms accompany anxiety:
Dizziness
Rapid or irregular heart rate
Rapid breathing
Diarrhea or frequent need to urinate
Fatigue
Irritability, including loss of your temper
Sleeping difficulties and nightmares
Decreased concentration
Sexual problems
Anxiety disorders are a group of psychiatric conditions that involve excessive anxiety. They include generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and social phobia.
Common Causes:
Certain drugs, both recreational and medicinal, can lead to symptoms of anxiety due to either side effects or withdrawal from the drug. Such drugs include caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, cold remedies, decongestants, bronchodilators for asthma, tricyclic antidepressants, cocaine, amphetamines, diet pills, ADHD medications, and thyroid medications.
A poor diet can also contribute to stress or anxiety -- for example, low levels of vitamin B-12. Performance anxiety is related to specific situations, like taking a test or making a presentation in public. Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) develops after a traumatic event like war, physical or sexual assault, or a natural disaster.

webmd.com is a good place to start they have a spot just for questions on medicine.
other than that when it comes to anti depressant's and anxiety med's be very careful
I took one once i thought it was making me deal with life better but everyone that knew me beged me to get off of it the whole time it had me in a trance all the time and when I got really angry on it and never remembered or belived what i was being told until my other half video taped it and then with the med in me i didnt care ether until I snapped one day at work and lost a very good job because of that stupid stuff
I personally say stick to hot bubble baths and a long drive to no where help the best.
but if you have to have all the facts and ask you family friends to keep an eye on you so you dont get out of hand.
to each's own

Tell you doctor and let him try the diffrent meds.
Fom somebody that has panic attacks, just the phone ringing can cause you to be anxius.... Anything can cause one to come one,
phone ringing
car in the drive way
cips truck,
the mail
most are caused by somthing that has happened in your life. Mine all come from hubby losing his job and losing our new home we had just built. that was over 15 years ago but it still causes panic attacks now.

When it works. There are many good ones out there. Remeron is a good one but makes you eat. Get a good PSYCHIATRIST (not regular doctor, you need a specialist) and take it regularly. It takes a while to work.

If your friends still want to be around you and aren't asking "Are you okay?" and also how you feel yourself.. Still depressed or anxious is probably a sign that it is not working after 2 weeks.
Good Luck..........Hope this helps............JG
