my ex said the child support people took his tax refund and sent to me but i never recieved any money his is telling truth and if so where did the money go

I don't think they work by emails. you have to contact your local Friend of the Court office..

you can look on line for your local state division of child support enforcement and get to a link that indicates support for receivers of child support. It depends on your state which is why I cannot be more specific. Yes the IRS will take refunds for child support and yes it will piss off the person not getting that sought after refund...you may also be able to get a 1-800 number that allows you to see if there is actually that amount of money coming to you (again each state is different ). In MO you are informed of the last payments made to the courts that will in turn be in your account. You can always ask the ex to follow up himself since it will bring down what ever balance he owes. If he is telling the truth and you are too then it will work out...Good luck

Call the county, just because they took it doesnt mean that it has ben processed, he will know right away that his tax return was taken. You can set up dierct deposit also.

You need to contact your attorney and they should know who to contact.
