My one friend used to be a brunette nows she's blonde, she said the sun died it is that possible?

The sun will deffinately lighten your hair. But not if your friend was a true Brunette before. Perhaps when she said the sun what she was not saying was SUN IN. A product that you spray in your hair and then with aid from the sun acctually will lighten it to blond.

It depends on how dark of hair she had to begin with. If she is out in the sun a lot and she had light brown hair then it is entirely possible that the sun lightened it. But if she had really really dark hair then I'd say that blonde color came out of a bottle.

I don't know about going brunette to blonde. I used to have brown hair but the sun brought out the red, it's now red/auburn but my dads side of the family has red hair.

well depends on the extent of the change, mine lightens up alot in the summer, but i wouldn't say blonde really, more like a blondish brown or even possibly a dark blonde...and it dosn't need help from anything sun can do it by itself

Possibly. . .if she was a light/light-medium brunette, the sun could have done it or she could have used Sun-In to accelerate the sun's lightening of her hair. Darker than light medium? Nah.

Yeah, spending time out in the sun will die it, it is possible, she's just the lucky one that had it happen to her, it does to some people alot but rarely

The sun does help to lighten hair, but since it was such an extreme color difference, she probably used bleach.

sun might have lightened it, but if she was brunette, I don't think its possible to make it blonde..
