What kind of games?
There's the traditional "Ring around the Rosie", "Red Rover"
"Hide and go Seek" "London Bridges" and stuff like that. "Simon Says" is also good. "Mother may I?" and "Red light, green light"
We used to play "statue".. You spin around until someone says "Stop" then you hold your position for as long as you can.
How about 'I Spy?" Everyone can play that game.
"Follow the leader" "Farmer in the Del?" Musical chairs.
If you are looking for a quiet sit down game, how about a memory game? Tell a story using the alphabet and the next person has to continue with the story. Since it's kids who are smaller- you can just keep going. "I went on an adventure to Africa (using A)"
Or, since the kids are little and have limited vocabulary, you can use colors or numbers.
You can do relay races- run with something 'small' like a bean bag, and toss it to the next person in line or on the team. The team whose bean bag gets to the end of the line, wins.
You can also do a bean bag toss with "distance" as the goal. Stand close together and toss the bean bag back and forth to each other. Then, take a step back and toss again. Keep doing this until you are very far apart. If you drop it, start over.
A scavenger hunt, work with team members to "find" things in the play area- like sticks, acorns, or something the counselors have "planted."

I love playing- What time is it Mr. Wolf?
What Time Is It Mr Wolf?
One person is "it" - Mr Wolf. Mr. Wolf stands at one end of the gym, or field with her back turned to the other children. The other kids stand at the far end of the gym or the field, and they chant, loudly, in unison, "What time is it, Mr Wolf?"
Mr. Wolf answers with different times, for example, "It's one o'clock!"
The other children take a step for every hour that Mr. Wolf exclaims that it is. So, for one o'clock, they take one step toward Mr. Wolf's back. For seven o'clock, they take seven steps. And they count out loud in unison as they take the steps. It is up to them whether they take large or small steps.
Eventually, Mr. Wolf will announce, "Midnight!" She will then turn around and chase the children who have been approaching her from behind. Any that she tags, become Wolves themselves. Any that run back to the beginning without being tagged get to ask what time is it, and play the game again.
Any new wolves, do the chasing with the original wolf in subsequent lunch times, and any girls who weren't tagged before who are tagged by either the original wolf, or new wolves become wolves themselves.
This is a fast paced, fun game.

Anything with music and movement like; the hokey pokey and simon says. Obstacle courses. Pretending anything. Read them a story about dinosaurs or make one up and ask them about questions about dinosaurs. Kids will talk forever about dinosaurs. Have them pretend to be dinosaurs, What face does a dinosaur have?, How do they walk?, What sounds do they make? Go on a dinosaur walk. Use something to resemble dinosaur bones and have them dig them up. Paint dinosaur pictures on rocks.
