why do girls like guys who treat them badly? cheating,violence etc. Ijust dont understand it

There are a lot of variables. One is how the girl was raised. If she grew up in an abusive household, then she will most likely model after that. The big factor for all girls is that we generally like dominant,confident, and driven men. It's hard for some girls (especially younger ones) to see that these bad boys take these traits to far. If your having a personal problem getting a girl to notice you over these punks, then try projecting more confidence. This is the trait that they generally like in the bad boys.

Human females are biologically programmed to want to mate with the most aggressive, physically strong, egotistical, powerful males. This is because those males are seen to guarantee good genetic stock. This is all well and good in an ape/just-post-ape society where after mating and impregnation take place, the females handle the job of raising infants and food-provision is collective. However, in a modern set-up where pair-bonding for life is encouraged, you end up with females being initally attracted by these brutish males, but after successful mating continuing the union for far longer than would be normal in 'the wild'. It's because of the social distortion of normal mating/breeding dynamics that this happens.

It's not about liking that... some women just gravitate to that type of guy, for various reasons. Most usual: It's what they're used to. Change can sometimes be a scary thing, so you go for what you already know. If their father or guardian was abusive, they lean to the same type of guy. Children that have been through or have seen violence have a much higher risk in being in that kind of relationship. (That includes abusive guys who have seen their fathers abuse women.

Now women usually STAY in those relationships because because they are trapped in some way (money, children, emotional dependence, etc)

Keep in mind, not all women are like that. ;)

because some girl like that bad boy image cuz they like a guy to be confident but sometimes when the guy takes it too far the girl is already too deeply involved in the relationship and has feeling for him that she hopes that maybe he will "change" another reason is because they will stay with the guy because they are scared cuz he would threaten her or whoever she loves if he were to leave him then the 3rd reason is because girls have might have a low self esteem and wants to feel wanted even if its from a creep... girls with a low self esteem get manipulated easier then the 4th reason is because they could be just plain stupid...5th reason they might be financially dependent on the guy and cant afford to leave no matter how bad it is

Second women have egos and always believe they can change men
Third they also believe that they are special enough the man will change anyway
Fourth Some women associate violence with love because they feel that men canonly express reall emotion thru violence bcs they are not taught how to communicate effectively

Probably girls who are insecure with a low self esteem, the guy usually starts off really nice and sweet and then when they know you have fallen for them thats when they change and put you down constantly, making you feel like you are not good enough for anyone else so the girls put up with it hoping they will change and thats just part of it...

I don't think that's true. Who would like to be treated badly. Maye be some girls but the majority like to be treated well and with lots of love and respect.

Maybe because they dont have any excitment in there lives but most girls dont like guys like that. They just probably want a guy that will keep them safe and protect them which is normal

I think its because when the first started dating they weren't treated badly and now they're in love with the guy and they think they can change him and make him a nicer person.
