Don't hurt yourself more girl. If you don't want to eat much, at least have a couple of chocolate bars, chocolate helps with bad mood. Cheer up.

Yes, stress can cause lack of appetite and depression can cause disinterest in normal activities like eating, sleeping, sex, etc. Try to remember that by not eating, you are making the stress (physical and emotional) worse. Emotional stress can cause physical problems, and that would be worsened by not eating and sleeping, so do your best. Also, remember that your father's problems are not your fault and maybe this is a necessary step in him getting better, maybe it's a good thing. At any rate, try to find something tasty but easy on the stomach and eat even though you might not feel like it. I hope things get better for you and I'm sorry for your troubles. Take Care of you, though, even if you can't change anything else. ok? You are important, and you shouldn't suffer more than you are already.

im so sorry about what your dad did and maybe you should go get some counceling on it so you can have somone to talk to and maybe start feeling better. You should never ever starve yoursefl because its bad for you and if something were to happen to you im sure your mom would feel bad and she doesn't need that. You need to take care of your self and look out for your mom, if you can't eat an entire meal you should try to blend vegies with oranges and then eat a piece of meat the size of your hand and some beans or rice with that.

Sounds like your eating is defineatley emotional. You need to eat something every day - even if it's just a yogurt or something. Make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids and stuff like gatorade or vitamin water. Your mental state of mind isn't going to get better if you are starving yourself - because your metabolism is out of whack and you don't have the proper nutrients going into your body.
You need to talk about whats going on, either with your mom or a close friend. Get your emotions out and start dealing with them.

Sounds to me like you are trying to take control over something in your life. Other things you are not able to control so having control over this makes you feel better. You need to find someone you can talk to about this. Maybe if you can get your feelings about your stepdad out in the open it will release some of these hurtful feelings and you can start to heal.

It sounds like the beginnings of anorexia - you feel better by not eating because it gives you control. Please go to a doctor or a consellor or both. You need to talk to find out what is causing this and how to stop it - it is a symptom of emotional upset and on't go away until you cure the underlying cause. Good luck!

Tell your mom and/or someone older you can trust and go get professional help. This is very unhealthy and yes it could be related to the abuse you suffered from your stepdad. I wish you the best and a fast recovery!

you need to talk to God (pray, read His Word, spend time with Him, learn about Him or share Him & His Word with others) & a trustworthy adult or friend who will do something to help you. (but you've probably heard that already). It's not really selfish; you just seem very self-conscious & very upset. Since you said you feel emotionally drained, see if you can help others somehow, like at a food bank or a community service, or something at your local church or chapel. I'll pray for you. :)

you will get better soon....if you can not eat, then drink some health drinks...don't forget your milk or even ice cream...orange juice...try some flavored waters even...keep your liquids up...
i know you are drained, and upset...the hunger you feel by not eating takes away the pain you are feeling..i have been there...mental pain is worse than physical...if you still can not eat after a week or ten days, go visit your doctor. he can help...
you and your mother need some counseling..please go get it...even a minister can help you...
