Can you get drunk on red wine vinaigrette dressing?

Question

I have two teenagers around, otherwise I could care less. I immagine, if you could, you'd have to drink heavy amounts. Is there any way possible? I highly doubt it.

My husband owns a restrunt, so we buy it from Sams in huge amounts to use with our salads.

You'd have to drink many quarts just to equal one beer. Likely, your kids would throw up first from drinking all the oil. Let them try, it will teach them a lesson!

If you bought it at the grocery store, then no. The vinaigrette is actually wine that has turned to vinegar, losing its alcoholic property...or something like that...Don't worry! Your kids will be fine! :-)

okay...assuming you are serious...the amount of vinaigrette they would have to drink...alright...there seems to me that there are much bigger issues with your teens if they'd even consider this as a viable option...

the average vinaigrette contains 4oz of wine to 12oz of oil...in order to get a slight buzz they'd have to ingest like a quart and a half of dressing...each...to get drunk...a gallon?! Each!

Somehow I doubt you would have 2 gallons of vinagrette laying around.

If it is store bought then no the amount alone would make them sick of just the amount of dressing.

if its got any alcohol in it, you can get drunk. i was watching brainiac once and someone ate choclolates with rum in them, and didnt pass the breathelyzer test. so yeah, you probably could.

check the bottle for alcohol rating. I would guess they would get sick before they get a buzz
