my grandmother wants me to go down to AL with her this week, i dont want to. what should i do??? please help!

Go with her and make it a point to enjoy yourself. We just never know how much time anyone has left, so if you have an opportunity to spend time with someone you love, you should do it. You would feel horrible if something happened to her later on and you hadn't spent that weekend with her. I wish I had a weekend to spend with my Grandparents, I miss them terribly.

If you really dont want to then you have 3 options.
Play sick
Dont show up, dont call, just disappear. leave a note saying sorry.
or just tell grandma no, "just say no"

Your grandma won't be around forever. Suck it up and go--spend time with her while that is still an option.
