All I heard from believers was "god doesn't bother with you" or "god could do it, he just doesn't want to" or this gem:
"Do you really believe that God is going to listen to you?"
These are the same people who tell me I should pray because god is always listening. So, does that mean he only listens when you are sucking up to him? He's too much of a coward to answer anyone who stands up to him?

Such anger. Why are you so angry towards someone that you do not even believe exists? Clearly you do believe that God exist but are frustrated in some way...

Dear ludd.
I would be careful what I wish for. God may not stirke you dead right now for your sin, But the Bible warns everyone everywhere that when we die we will stand before God on Judgement day and give an account of every thought word and deed. every time we dare God, or curse his name, he is keeping a record and the BIble says your gathering for yourself wrath on the day of wrath.
The Ten Commandments are Gods Holy Law, and it is made clear that if we have broken Gods law by lying, stealing, blasphemy, fornication, failing to put God first, etc, we will be given the Justice we deserve, and the Bible warsn that we will lose our soul forever in hell. the BIble says thatwhile were in Hell we wont simply pass out of existence, but we will have an eternity of weeping and gnashing of teeth. and to make things worse, we will have an eternity to remeber and regret all the times we cursed at God and rejected him. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray something like this: "Dear God, I repent of all of my sins (confess them). This day I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."
Ludd, This is the message of the Gospel, you knowwhat God has done and that he will forgive you if you will repent and trust him. But if you chose not to you will face his wrath. Please, im pleading with you to turn from your sins and trust the Savior. There is no guarantee of tomorrow, And there is nothing more important than your eternal salvation.

Do you want to stand up to Him, because you want to be God? Like Satan stood up to Him and was kicked out of heaven? And did you know He loved you so much, He died for you, so you could come back into His fold?

It's not too late to be saved.
And capitalizes the Lord's name also, it can be offensive to some, including me.

there seems to be some confusion here.....
God only hears the prayer of the unbeliever when he repents of his sins, and turns his life over to Him.
Once this has happened, yes, God will listen, and respond to prayers regarding one's needs, and requests for help.
