Religion is a touchy subject. People get very defensive, very quickly, about their beliefs. Almost comical, really. (Though I will admit I have been guilty from time to time).

A small amount of extremists lead to an exponential increase in the levels of vitriol so that everyone ends up getting annoyed with someone and trying to provoke and get a rise out of everyone else. After a while things just get out of control.
It's basically like chaos theory.
The only ones not doing this are those new to the category and yet to be sucked into the inevitable vortex...

i does not take issues so in my view. merely the different day I asked a query approximately my son and somebody spoke back with, "he's a retard." no humorous tale. i became offended, yet i did no longer enable her lack of know-how carry me down. you will bump into negativity in all factors of your life. the suitable ingredient to do is brush it off. it is not nicely worth it slow or tears. As for the diaper genie, I didnt see the question or solutions, yet from my adventure, there are greater straightforward diaper pails accessible. The twisting mechanism on the diaper genie is a lil frustrating and gets jammed up at cases. They in all probability merely had to shop the different guy or woman from the difficulty and advise yet another large purchase. each and every guy or woman is diverse and what works for you, won't artwork for somebody else. the international does not be an exceedingly exciting place if all of us felt an identical approximately each and every little thing.

It's because it's the only one where people who know nothing about a subject feel free to make outrageous comments. So people who have no faith feel fine about saying, "because I don't believe there cannot be a God!"
Possibly it is because the consequences of being wrong are so catastrophic.
No-one who was completely ignorant of the subject would go onto the Science section and make unsubstantiated comments about quantum physics!

Because people feel strongly about what they believe. That is: what they have faith in.
From the Atheists to the most devout Greek Orthodox, they all believe a certain way.
Plus we have the added bonus of people thinking they are a born expert on religion. Way too many of those.

Because people don't like it when others say rude things about what they believe. It happens to us all, some more then others. I try to keep a calm head and not go for the being rude thing. I think we all have things we could learn from others, we just have to be willing to ask...

Because it deals with Religion. Everyone has an opinion, and everyone thinks they're right. If you ask a polarized question, you get all kinds of answers, and that's what a lot of people do here.

The topics of religion and spirituality are the most sensitive (still). When I was young we were cautioned to not talk in company about religion, sex, politics. Have times ever changed!

You don't get the basics...Three things people hate discussing...Religion, Politics, and their Finances. Bring any of those topics up at a party and see if it continues to be fun. PEACE!
