What you're asking is which profession pays more and has better working conditions. I'd say doctors might make more money, especially if they go into a specialty field, such as, gynecology, ophthalmology, geriatrics, pediatrics, etc. However, the dentist has better hours; or at least is not on call 24-hours a day, as some doctors are. Opportunities in each profession is about the same, depending on which specialities are entered into. Dentists can be orthodontists, periodontists, cosmetic surgeons, etc. So it's pretty much a toss-up there. I wouldn't say one is better than the other generally, as both are needed and valued. But since you're not sure, do a little research on the subject before deciding what profession you'd like to study.

Dentistry is the way to go. I just read an article about this. Dentists usually work 4 days a week, don't have to worry about outrageous malpractice insurance. It sounds like a dream job.

I would say a doctor
the hours will be longer but the pay is better and you can specialize in one field or have a private practice
dentists have more set hours and get paid less
but still very well
