We are the land of the free, because of the brave. I love my country, and believe that the flag still stands for freedom. I feel hope every time I see children. I feel pride for all that serve our country, not just the soldiers, but the firemen, EMTs, police, and the mail man because he brings us letters from our loved ones. My heart skips a beat when the National Anthem is played. I may not always agree with what my president says, but regardless of who our president is let's show him some respect. There are so many that you cannot imagine, behind the scenes, keeping America safe at night, that must remain nameless. I am so thankful for the work that they do. Love your freedom? Thank a Vet!

I love my country even though it isn't perfect. There is a reason why so many people want to come here to live, because we have so much freedom that we take for granted. We are free live where we chose, unlike China where we would have to ask permission from the government to move, marry or even how many children we can have. The founders of our country looked for the best form of government, to avoid the oppression that they had experienced under King George III of England. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights were enacted to ensure that everyone was treated the same, regardless of how much money you have or who your parents are. So many of us take these precious rights for granted that when they are threatened, some don't realize that it is a big deal, that you have the right to be secure in your person and your home, and that you are innocent until proven guilty. Try getting arrested in any other country and you'd have a much harder time. Freedom isn't free, and my family has served this country proudly - in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WWI & WWII as well as Vietnam. I am proud of that and I will do my civic duty to vote and take advantage of all the rights I have as an American.

Yes, and thank you for your question. I still say we are the best country in the world! We can disagree on issues and still be friends and neighbors. We don't have to kill other people just because they don't agree with us. Of course we are still free in the land of opportunity, we can all dream as big as we want and have a chance to be whatever we want.
