Several of them, actually. From "Six Historic Americans":
During the presidential campaign of 1880, the Christian Union made the startling admission that, of the nineteen men who, up to that time, had held the office of President of the United States, not one, with the Possible exception of Washington, had ever been a member of a Christian church.

About part of them were "Catholic" and the opposite part are mentioned to be protestants, however a couple of have been honestly diests. I believe the thought here's that almost all of Americans are nonetheless respectable persons that do not wish a chief that has no moral or ethical specifications to reside as much as. When the forty somethings and older die off that can difference. The 20 somethings and more youthful look to include disrespectful and gayistic mannerisms.

Nixon, he didnt have any love for the people. If a christian president, his love for God and country would come first. So he would be against anything that is detestable or evil in the sight of God.
