I have been on it for 4 weekd and have lost 12 lbs. I am very happy but this is very hard to keep up. I am curious to hear about your experience with the Atkins diet. Did you take the recemmended supplements? did they help? do you feel better on this diet? did you keep the weight off? etc... All answers are welcome.

From what I understand, the Atkins diet is very bad for your health. I tried it but my blood sugar dropped so low I had to stop doing it. I hear the South Beach diet is much more balanced. Good luck!

like a number of diets, the Atkins nutrition plan is merely effectual for as long as you're on it. as quickly as you end "weight-reduction plan" you will income decrease back each and all of the burden you lost, and greater. the only thank you to drop some weight is by making healthful way of life differences. consume lean meats, comprehensive grains, and lots of end result and vegetables, and workout a minimum of three-5 cases a week.

I lost 30 pounds and have kept it off for about 7 years. The problem people make is that they do not realize that it is not a diet, it is a lifestyle change in eating FOREVER.

It took me about 4 years to realize that. But now I am very happy with it and I feel great. I like my blood sugar level to be low since high blood sugar is one of the major causes of heart disease, not saturated fat.

I've done Atkins but, I like herbalife better. It takes care of your overall health. I feel better on Herbalife then I ever did Atkins. I liked it so much that I became a distributor. If you want to try the product let me know and I can help you.

i used to go on it every spring to lose about 15lbs. It always worked, but then I gained it back in the fall. its not too bad for you if you start adding the good carbs back in gradually once you reached a target weight. I think its a good diet to jump-start your weight gain, but not proven to be real healthy. Then again, are any of us completely real healthy??
