Well, a year from now when the relationship has had some time to get serious, and you're 15, and he's 18 it could lead to some serious legal problems... but if this is just a short term thing, then maybe it'll be fine... or maybe since he's so much older than you, he'll just use you. I know I would have if a 14 year old got with me when I was 17.

Well no age is just a number but you really need to not worry about guys at your age. School should be your priority for now. Better said then done. But How do you feel your parents will take this news??? I'm sure they will freak out (A LOT). At your age do you think your parents will let you date. I wasn't aloud to date until I was 16 and that had to be with other friends not by ourselves. Take my advice you have so much time to find someone at a later time. There will be other guys that you'll like and you'll actually get to maybe date one when you get older. So for now take it easy, don't rush your childhood because you cant get it back. I tried so many times and failed on that. Good luck

Yes, at that age it is a big gap. Guys honestly have one thing on their mind, whether they admitt it or not is another thing. They will say what you want to hear, and being that you are younger than him, he may be able to manipulate you even more. You can get all the advise from everyone in the world, but what it boils down to is what you want to do. You're gonna do what you want regardless - so if you decide to go for it, then just be careful!

The experience difference between 14 and 17 is pretty big. The older you get the more that difference lessens. When you are 20 and he is 23, it wouldn't be a big deal.

No! If you want to be 15 and pregnant, with your 18- year-old boyfriend mysteriously absent, go ahead. I think it is thoroughly dumb to get sexually active before you are grown up. Babies happen to anyone who isn't payng attention. It is very hard to raise a baby by yourself ( especially with a 10th grade education)and your family will not be pleased with you.
Yes! It is too big a difference. As a 14-year-old, you should be hanging in groups of 14-year-olds. You are only young once, don't corrupt yourself so soon.. You can get in PLENTY of trouble with younger kids. You have plenty of time to hang out with 17 year-old guys with raging hormones, and a LOT more experience in the dating world that you have. Watch out for this sentence: "If you loved me, you will......" Even if they mean "go to the store for me," you should NEVER have to prove your devotion to someone.
If you were my daughter and I saw you with anyone over the age of 15, I would threaten to have him arrested fro being a pedophile.
If you care about this boy, you will make him wait to date you. If he cares about YOU, and not a quick fix, he will wait.

im in your EXACT problem too, i l kinda ike this guy who is 17 when im 14 and he likes me and i kinda like him. i kinda like him because of the age gap but i don't think its that bad. It depends on the older guy because the older guy that likes me is really nice and not a pervert at all and we've known eachother for awhile so i trust him completly. So no, i don't think its that big but just make sure hes not a perve and you know him pretty good.

Yes, 3 years at these ages is a big difference. Save yourself the trouble and move on. And, I think it's illegal...somewhere out there

Nope. I dated a girl your age when I was 25. She was so into me. LOL just kidding. Really you shouldn't start dating until you are 16, then you can go with a Senior if you like.
