I recently cheated on my gf and am now moving to another state with my new gf after a month of meeting her. I know some people call this a "rebound relationship" but thats not my biggest concern.... my new gf hasn't been in relationship for 8 years. Is she desperate? Am I setting myself up for a huge heartbreak? How long will we last? What are our chances?? HELP!!!!!!

Trust someone who is speaking from experience.... this is going to be soo hard and probably isn't going to work in the long run... new relationships are hard enough w/ out adding the fact it's a rebound AND you're moving and she does seem a lil odd... 8 years? Theres a reason you're having doubts listen to yourself

Well, that's a pretty fast rebound, but if things are going smoothly, and you can talk about where you're headed without getting all weird, then you'll be fine.
Is she desperate? Well, after eight years, I'd be desperate, but the fact that she waited that long at all tells you she doesn't just say yes to anybody. She picked YOU after eight years of looking.
Are you setting yourself up for a heartbreak? asking that question is a good way to make the answer become yes.
How long will you last? Asking that question is a good way to make it be a short time.
What are your chances? the same as any couple. If you want your chances to be better, quit asking these sort of questions and ask "How can I make this work?" and "How can I make this work better?" This will help to ensure a much longer relationship... if you want it to work.

Make sure she tells you exactly what she wants and expects. She is moving with you so she has more to lose. Plus, she needs to know what she is getting into with you! No pun tended, but you are the cheater. Make sure you don't mess this up, some people know what they want in life and when the best opportunity comes along the go for it. She is one of those people who knows what the want and will take a risk, kudos to her.

ugh what goes around, comes around. your mistake was cheating on your ex gf. but try to forget the past. maybe this new gf is afraid that she will get hurt again like last time ... maybe ...
give it a shot but she might just want to be getting back into the game of love, wait and see

maybe she's been single for 8 years because she wait waiting got the right person, which in this case could be you. seems to me a month is a bit soon to be moving for someone BUT anything is possible. follow ur heart, i know it sounds so cliche but oftentimes its the best thing to do BUT don't be blinded by the fantasy.

Maybe she just hasn't met anyone she trusted enough to be in a relationship. Now that she's found someone she can trust enough to be in a relationship with, it would be stupid to make her feel like it was a mistake, especially if you like her.
