All through the Bible Jesus helped people directly, he did not make them suffer because they were bad, he extended his love to them because they needed him most.
Why do conservatives roar the loudest about Jesus but do the least to help their fellow man.

Don't call me a liberal. Most hard core liberals don't even believe in God. I do believe in him!

My proof is life you dummies!

I have been poor when I was a kid and it was always the unbelieving dreamer who helped my family. People at the church would demand we become members of their church to get help.

Because the President and his cronies especially Cheney and Rumsfield claim to know Jesus and thaat disgust me because the last time I checked Jesus came into Jeruselum didn't threaten to level nations to spoil the attempts of some bad people.

Jesus would not act like these people.
Their was not hate in his heart...
HE WAS VIRTUE!

Why is this so hard for you............I know why now....thank you god

It is a statistical FACT that conservatives give more to charity than do liberals. Conservative or red states give more than liberal or blue states. The reason for this is simple. Liberals believe that all charity begins with the government, while conservatives believe in the power and generosity of the average person. Please don't pretend to know the hearts of others. Conservatives like Rush Limbaugh give hundreds of thousands a year to charity, while liberals like Al Gore give very little to charity. Liberals believe in intentions, while Conservatives believe in deeds. Deed are the way to heaven, while the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Did Jesus disagree with God for opening a whole in the earth and swallowing up those that rebelled against Moses? No, because Jesus IS God. He will judge the earth with a wrath that no one has seen or known. He loves his children, but if you choose to reject him, you will suffer his wrath. Take that to the bank. John 3:36. For the liberal "If any shall not work, neither shall he eat."

Conservatives ended slavery, gave women the vote only had three members in opposition to civil rights, passed no child left behind, instituted the welfare to work reform that actually helps people support their own families and gives them some pride. And behind closed doors gives more to charity than Liberals are even willing to think about giving.

Jesus preached love (John 3:16). He also preached hell for unbelievers (Matthew 25:41). He also did all He could to fulfill all righteousness (Matthew 3:15).
After we accept and trust only in Jesus, we should also confess Him and do as He did (Romans 10:9, 2 John 1:5,6), whether conservative, your persuasion (moderate maybe) or liberal.

News for you: although I don't identify myself as a conservative, conservatives DO give more money to causes than liberals do. Google should help you find the reference to the study.

There is likely more to it than meets the eye, of course. It may be that conservatives have more money to give; or that liberals are not as willing to report their gifts as conservatives.

But using those reasons are not verifiable outside of another study, so if I (or anyone else) attempted to use those statements to undermine the results of the study, then it's simply bias.

What makes you think conservatives do nothing to help the least of their fellow man?

Just because they don't think it's governments job to decide how they go about helping those in need doesn't mean they don't help those in need.

I don't trust the government to put my money to the best use possible when helping those in need. I'd rather keep as much of my money as possible and use my own discretion as to who I should give it to.

Do you have any proof for your statement?
"...conservatives roar the loudest about Jesus but do the least to help their fellow man."

No, I didn't think so.
