well lady i guess it dont matter, really whether you are circumcised or not ,for the simple fact that manhood is only part of the "bringing a new life into this world" as you would be the other half.But the significance of circumcision is a religious one,as it was a covenant that GOD made with man,THAT ALL MALES BORN SHOULD BE CIRCUMCISED.

Some time back, it was thought that circumcision had benefits medically, in the sense of reducing the occurrence of infections. Therefore male babies in the US were routinely circumcised.
So they only know of circumcised penises and cannot imagine something that's different from them.
I guess they didn't trust the hygiene of their male children. :)
Proper hygiene prevents infection, it's that simple.

One is quite capable of washing ones pecker without recourse to snipping bits off it to remind one.

It really isn't weird as much as just plain ol nasty. you cant clean well if you dont get circumcised.
