I think most are needing relief from their marriage which is probably having problems at the time. The affair offers an escape and all the good feelings of a new relationship. But the marriage has the history and is a more mature relationship which ultimately most men want to continue...so I think men love their lovers for what they give them at the time...but they are using their lovers for momentary relief.

I personally think that if someone is dating a married man they need their *** kicked for doing so. And if a married man has a lover then they are not worthy of their goddess (wife). But to answer your question; when caught in the act of cheating most married men still choose their wife, the other woman is just a quick peice of tail so no the married men who are doing this do not love their lovers they are in love with their penis.

Some love them, some are using them. They can do both at the same time. Even if he loves you he may have no intentions of leaving his wife to have a life with you. Maybe he loves both women and doesn't feel the need to choose one when he can have both if he plays his cards right.

It's generally not about love but needs...they are missing something in their marriage that they feel can be full filled by a lover.

I think any married person with a lover on the side has trouble with the concept of "love" in general and the " just using their lover" notion is a distinct possibility.

Sorry but no. I use to have a man like that until i met my husband and honestly i love him more than anything in the world. He is now the only one that i would allow in my life over and over again. The other man is nothing but a memory tucked away in a dark Attic somewhere and I'm glad to keep it that way!

For the most part, men find that their d***ks and their hearts are connected. You just can't spend sack time with someone without caring to one degree or another.

Even f*** buddies wind up attached. It's impossible to do the deed without forming a bond - it's just the way we're made.

I think that they see different things and don't feel the obligations and pressures the more permanent relationship brings. Its kind of like this Q and A. We ask questions we would never ask anyone on in person. Well most I should say.

Having an affair is wrong but it happens the bad thing is that you fall in love and they may tell you that they love you but how fast are they moving to leave their wife? don't go that route it isn't even worth it.
