In my nightmares the emotions are so strong, that sometimes I dont want to even go to sleep for fear of what I might dream about. They're not always violent or ghostly scary, lately they have been about emotional situations, and I will wake up crying. Antything information you can offer wil help, thanks.

sometimes when you have alot on your mind it follows through in the dreams. it happens to me also. when i usually have a lot going on in my life and try to avoid it by not thinking of it or keeping busy doing something else, i definitely dream about it but of course in nightmare forms.

so whatever it is that is bothering you, take care of it, and see if it helps, if not, talk to a doctor or something,

Both Rachel and Gypsy are right nightmares are caused from your daily life , stress in your life that you havent solved yet. the nightmares are happening cause your mind is trying to figure out how to solve the problems or issues you are having. some times they dont make sence so you have to break it down ( the dream) almost everything has a meaning..if someone is chaceing you in your dream its usually a problem you cant seem to get away from or solve as i have been told try stoping and turning around look at the person or thing in the face and see exactly what it is. you also might want to try to read dream books or look things up on the net..some times a lot of things will be on there about what you are dreaming about but you still have to break it down take the main things that are happening in the dream and look it up..they should give you enough clues to figure out exactly whats causeing these nightmares.
good luck!

There must be something in your daily life that is causing you great stress. Figure out what that is and a solution to alleviate that stress and you may find that the dreams stop. If the stress can't actually be relieved right now. Say school/college/marriage; you know something that you just can't change right now. Try yoga or some relaxation and visualization to help calm your mind before bedtime.
