The Catholics had it right so long ago.
Priest and pastors should be doctors.
There are very few things in this world that should be free.....church is one, healthcare is the other........
Hey all you mean people ask yourself what would Jesus really say to all these doctors and lawyers and politicians who claim to know him...........just ask yourself that question.........

Dear Julia,
Americans are not keen on Universal Health Care because they see what is happening in other countries. Contrary to what many people believe, "universal health care" in Europe and Canada has become a mess. Their governments can barely pay for it, and it's laden with red tape and bureaucracy.
Our system has its problems, but handing control over to the government wouldn't change a THING. I don't know what the answer is, but it ISN'T nationalized care.
Love, Jack

Daniel H hit the nail on the head.......too much $$$ and lobbying power from the pharmaceutical companies. It's just like the domination and control the oil companies have. It makes it almost impossible to do what is right. We need to stand together and DEMAND change......our children will have a freaking nightmare to deal with, even worse than we have it now!!

Well get him here quick then. There are 30 million Americans who cannot afford health care and the Religious industry of fast cars, jet planes, large houses and holiday homes does not increase my faith that Jesus' return would do what you assert.

This government screws up everything it has control of, why in God's name should we give it more to control?
If Jesus were here a great deal many things would solved beyond your sacred cow, health care.

You would get the lowest possible care. There is a lot of incentive driving medical research that would be lost if it were socialized. It is to bad though I think it is a great idea if it could be made to work.
