Click the name under the little picture or icon. That will take you to the person's page. IF they have set it up properly, you can then click on a link on their page to communicate with them. Some seem to call the process IM but it's not thta to me, but, what the heck to do I know?

If I wanted to e-mail you I'd click below your itallic where it says your name Robert K. I think you have to ask or respond to a question first.

Click "compose" then in the 'to', type the person's whole email address like abc123@yahoo.com or something. Write whatever you want and click send.

press"compose"type in that persons email in the "to:" section and type your message in the box then press send.
