I have done beta testing for Intuit for several years. I also use it to run my small business so am fairly familier with Quickbooks.

Without knowing which which other accounting software you are comparing it to it's impossible to answer your first question. I will say that I have used quickbooks for 5 years now and am extremely satisfied with its flexibility and power.

As to your export function, it depends on what you are wanting to do but overall its very easy. If you only need standard data, clicking reports and export is all it takes. It is a little more difficult to develop reports containing custom data but the interface is wizard driven and very intuitive.

Hello,
I am currently using quickbooks enterprise in our company. We used to use peach tree but when importing excel it was a nightmare. Sometimes the fields would be screwed up, other times it worked fine.

Since switching to Quickbooks Enterprise it has been a very good experience, especially when importing excel spreadsheets.
