Yes.
There are different beliefs about that particular discussion\argument\theory.
There must be an ultimate, or absolute, truth. A theory that some people have is called skepticism. Skepticism is exactly the "no" argument to your question. Skepticism says that there is no such thing as an absolute truth...regarding reality... that truth is relative, meaning what is true for one might possibly be untrue for another.
This is basically a self-defeating argument. The assertion that truth does not exist is an assertion of an apparant truth. Something like this..."Truth doesn't exist. It's the truth." That logic fails and the argument simply defeats itself in a vicious circle.
I believe there IS a truth... and I believe that truth is Jesus Christ. He said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life..."
A skeptic would say that "well, that may be true for you... but it's not true for me." This type of logic violates what is called the Law of Non-Contradiction. The Law of Non-Contradiction states that nothing can be both true and false. It is impossible for something to be right and wrong and still be the same thing. Right could be wrong... wrong could be right... with no one making the rules to say for sure which is okay... but of course he could be wrong... but right?
See how confusing that logic is?
Christians are often accused of not using logic or reason... but if you really think about it... it's quite reasonable. It's not a "blind faith"... God doesn't want anyone to simply follow blindly without reason. He wants us to use our heads. The Bible teaches that.

Yes there is. Everyone should know the ultimate truth. God wants it for everybody. If you don't feel like you already have it
Check out http://watchtower.org
and begin with learning about the only true God, Jehovah. Then you can learn about his purposes, his son Jesus Christ, and how all truth will soon be revealed by means of God's Kingdom. :)
Hope you find your ultimate truth.

Yup. From a Reincarnationist point of view, it's there in Matthew 5:48: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." The ultimate truth is to achieve perfection and celebrate the 'God' within.

According to most people here religion seems to be the great truth. I would say a monkey wearing a waist coat smoking a cigar is trhe greatest truth.

Yes.
You find it by clearing out of your mindset everything that isn't true. You discover what isn't true by examining and evaluating each and every belief, attitude, habit, opinion, and viewpoint you have. This takes extreme self-honesty.
As you improve the "trueness" of your mindset, truth will begin to shine through where there was garbage before.
It's no understatement that "the truth shall make you free".

I believe that there is, yes. I believe the statement of Jesus Christ that He, and He alone is the "truth, the life and the way". (John 14:6).
I understand others do not believe what I do.
