First of all do you mean you are "together" in THAT sense? If so, it is a good sign that he wants to meet your mother. I would be anxious if he did not. Question yourself as to why you do not want him to meet her. Maybe you are misjudging your mother by calling her high maintenance. Since you really gave no facts about that give the poor lady a chance. Every mother wants to meet their daughter:s boyfriend if they want happiness for them. I really think that is what we all want for our kids, boys or girls. If you have some doubts, talk to your boyfriend, and explain your mom,s personality, etc. He says he wants to meet her so give them both a chance. You may well be pleasantly surprised. If not, you have already explained her to him, so let them find out for themselves. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

You know your mom better than us and usually it's the Dads that are the problem. I suggest you and your dude take her out to an expensive restaurant. Food makes everything better, then she can see for herself why you love him so much. I'm impress because obviously he's not afraid so no matter how it goes you know he's not going anywhere. Well it all just depends. I'd suggest telling your mom your serious about this guy and that you'd like to have him over for dinner....Something casual.
