Dear YAnswerers,
Here at http://www.godhatesshrimp.com we recognize that an ABOMINATION is taking place in America, and we wish for you to join our cause!
In the Book of Leviticus (Chapter 11:9-12) it is clearly stated that shellfish is an ungodly ABOMINATION worthy of DEATH!
The ABOMINATION of eating shellfish has plauged America for too long, and it is leading to the death of innocent American soliders in Iraq, we must protest at their funerals!
Our RIGHTEOUS leader, George F. Shemlps, is waiting for you to raise your rifle to the call of duty, ally yourselves against the ABOMINATIONS of shellfish, they are bringing GODS WRATH to Americans everywhere!

Don't forget wearing wool and linen blend clothing. That's another abomination.

It's true.
If christians believe, as is told in the bible, that ALL shellfish is "an abomination" according to leviticus, then they should be stopping people from entering these dens of evil and sin.
But instead you see them packed in there on a sunday (And here I thought sunday was a day of rest. I guess it doesn't count for cooks and watresses, only hypocrites) gorging themselves on the shrimp platter.

Let me guess... someone just discovered their computer's copy/paste functionality?
Yes... Leviticus bans shelfish for the Jewish citizens of Iron age Israel. We get it. I think we all got it months ago, the first time some clever individual thought he'd made a new discovery either in Leviticus or Google.
Now can we agree to agree that we all know about Leviticus and early Jewish law? And that godhates***.com (which the shrimp site parodies) has about as much to do with mainstream Christianity as does Islamic Jihad with Jack and Jill Muslim?

Funny thing is God loves us so much that we can indulge in some sin and then ask for forgiveness and He will forgive us.
It is kinda like your brother does something mean to you but you still love him and will forgive him.
Please remember the bible also state "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." -Matthew 7:1

I think there needs to be its very own constitutional amendment against it. Then my wife will stop trying to take my vegetarian self there and make me fill up on cheesy biscuits. Also, we need to take pictures of people who enter and exit these dens of sin, so as to publicly shame them and discourage this behavior. And we certainly mustn't allow any to open up in our neighborhoods and attract that kind of clientele and give our kids ideas!!!

Many believe that the coming of Christ changes all those laws of the Old Testament. I am not so sure.
I hope it is not a sin, cuz they are sooo tasty

Eating such food(s) was condemned by God the Father in the Old Testament when he also required that His believers sacrifice lambs... do we still do that today? I know that I don't, and I KNOW that I'm a believer in Christ.

This is nothing new. Jews who maintain the kosher dietary laws have known this for years... millennia in fact...
Keep up the good work.
