if it is 100 degrees outside, do you think an egg would fry if left under direct sun? how long? (it's just too hot outside :))

If you put a sheet of metal outside and left it there until it got really hot, you could put some canola oil on it and try. Thats a question I've always wondered about...:-)

I've done it in Arizona but it was 110 outside and the rock I fryed it on was probably hotter.

Yes, it should work. Make sure it is very hot out though and that the surface will sizzle when u put the egg on. Good luck and let us know!! ;-)

Probably not, I tried that at school and it didn't work (I wasn't school work, it was for fun). Also if the temperature must be a least where water evaporates and 100F is not enough for that.

I am sure you could on top of your car if its directly in the sun but it would ruin your paint.ak

i dont think it will i mean it would take days and im not sure its going to stay the same temperture for days (including nights)
