We Muslims Believe that when the Day Of Judgement comes (The end of the world), Any person who is going to hell, their faces wil turn dark, and shadowy. The people who are going to heaven, their faces will glow like the moon. There will be no sun, moon, trees, anything.
Its not stupid. Dont say its stupid please. It is not. It says that in the Holy Qur'an.
What do catholics, christians, jewish, any other religions believe?
I am not prejudice against any religions so please give me your thoughts and feelings.

No, no, no, no lol.. I am not saying black ppl will go to hell and white ppl will go to heaven. I am saying that the ones who are destined to go to hell, will have a shadowy darkening, scary look on thier face. The ones who are destined to go to heaven will (like i said before) will glow like the moon. Different religions have different beliefs. And for you answerers who dont believe in the Holy Qur'an, thankyou for sharing. Your thoughts and feeling count, no matter what religion you are.

Some people who have responded to this question saying they are christian are NOT. It is in the christian belief to not only be tolerant but accepting. (Which is also why catholics don't think gays are evil. People get too confused on that issue.)
Catholism actually has something similiar to that. The ones going to hell will bear the mark "666" of the devil. The world will collapse in earthquakes and the sky will darken until there is nothing. Everyone will be taken up to be judged by Saint Peter. My school doesn't talk about this issue this much so I'm sorry if it's foggy. The teachers hate to scare kids.
Oh and there's one last bit that seems to be adapted from a very old Jewish belief. Those who scarred themselves or mutilated themselves or ruined their bodies will not be sent to either hell or heaven. They will be sent to pergatory where they have to wait for the marks to burn off and the skin to heal before they can go to either.
My sister is reading the Qur'an. I think it's pretty interesting how close Islam is to Christianty. And also Judaism. But they also branch so wildly you see how geography have a larger effect.

Christians believe that on the day of the Rapture (A day in which the Lord WILL come) Jesus will come from Heaven and take all Believers. Dissapear. Vanish. And the rest of the people will remained stunned, media making excuses. Then, 7 years from there the Anti-Christ will come to power and all religion will be banned. And, those who join the Anti-Christ will bear his mark. All others will be jailed or executed. Books, papers, and other articles will be banned. The Holy Bible has a secret yet revealed to the human eye and will be revealed at the end of the 7 years.
After the 7 years, Jesus will return and the Anti-Christ's rein will be overthrown and the world will return in a governed body of Religon.
-Hope it helps-

If you pick up a Bible, flip to the end and read "Revelation"; that describes the end of the Earth. There are plagues, famine, pestilence and war; the moon turns to blood (in color) and a whole bunch of other stuff. Best read when you're alone in a dark house.
Then there's the idea of "Rapture", where God summons all of his believers directly to heaven and then launches the plagues, etc.
Or you can watch the movie "The Seventh Sign", that was pretty cool and describes much of it.
But other religeons do not believe in an "end"; just a world where everything is reincarnated, like the cycle of nature.

Thank you very much for sharing words from the Holy Qur'an. I think that Westerns need more people from Muslim traditions to share their thoughts as they encounter books of all kinds.
Probably the most moving image of the Day of Judgement in the Christian tradition was painted by Michelangelo on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Whatever Muslim traditions of idolatry may be (and, by the way, they are shared by many Christians as well) studying the art of Michelangelo can give you a connection to the emotions behind the Holy Scriptures.
What's important about our holy texts - the ones that fanatics of all religions wave around like they are magic spells - is the way they make us feel. The connections to people in our world in the present hour, how we treat ourselves and others, and what we do with our lives are all informed by the spirit and emotions we receive when reading the Word of God.
Isn't it interesting how we remember certain passages more than others? This passage from the Holy Qur'an is one that you remember well enough to ask people to comment on it. I am honored that you are willing to share with me today, and wish you the best for yourself and for your family.

We believe that the end of the world is coming soon, because a lot of things in the Bible are starting to happen that lead to the end of the world. We believe that the Christians will suddenly vanish, and non-Christians will have to live on the Earth for seven years while Satan rules the Earth. After the seven years, people who dedicated their lives to Christ will go up to heaven and the non christians will spend eternity in hell. The Earth will then be destroyed.
That is what Christians believe.

Actually I think that the book of Daniel says the same thing will happen before the second coming of Jesus. Except for the glowing faces thing. But I remember Mose's face had light coming out through it after talking to God, also the bible describes Jesus to be full of light, in the book of revelations.
The sun and the moon with withdraw their light....
I would have to reread it to give you a good quote, but I read it for the first time this morning.
What are the odds.

Neshad, may the Lord bless you. For Christian, those who had accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will not see condemnation on judgment day. They will enter in to the Holy City, a city with street made gold, the sea like a Christal, there will not be shadows because the Glory of God will cover all, there will not sorrows nor pain nor sickness and God will wipe every tears. These are only a few things the will see in haven. Jesus say come as you are, He will never turn you away if you accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

As christians, many believe that we will be raptured and taken away to meet Jesus in the sky, then ascend to heaven before the end of times period begins. The rest of the people on the earth will have to live thought this period in time. Many will convert, but many will also die. And the glowing faces thing is really cool. :-) Seriously.

We believe the end will come with a great trumpet blast and Jesus will come like lightening across the sky and all of Creation will bow down to Him and acknowledge Him as Lord.
Thanks for sharing in such an open manner!

I don't care who you are, you have a right to believe what you believe and not be laughed at, or critizised. I think it's great they you have a religion, and that you follow it. There is nothing that says that the bible is the ONLY word of God. Don't you think God talks to other nations too? I believe we can all learn something of others beliefs, if we just take the time. I like to find similarities to my religion in others, and learn what others think and feel.
No one should say that your religion is stupid, or any religion, just because we have differences, doesn't mean we are not all God's children- no matter what the name of your God is.
I'm mormon. Yes, I know that will get some laughs, and some comments about how my religion is false also. We have been hated and persecuted for centuries. My ancesters were kicked out of their homes, tarred, featured, raped, murdered, and by law of the governer of Illinois, it was legal!! Homes were burned, businesses distroyed, families torn apart, just because our beliefs were different from other christians. Our leader (prophet) was killed in cold blood, along with his brother, in a jail. He was placed there for false crimes and was murdered by his neighbors.
My ancesters were forced to flee and most had nothing but the clothes on their backs. They walked thousands of miles across the plains. Many died, many were crippled by walking that far without shoes, or any form of protection.
We came to Utah to get away from persecution, and so we could worship how we saw fit. I'm sure it was horrible and unimaginable to think what my ancesters went through to get to a place where their religion was not used as a form of punishment.
Today, we still have a prophet, who we believe tells us what God would have us know as a chuch. We believe in personal revelation also, and that God is not silent. He talks to us if we but talk to him. Our church is still in existance, so that says something about the truthfullness, at least it does to me.
We believe that we will be judge for our own sins, not for what Adam did. We are not born sinners, we sin, we are human, but we do not have original sin.
We believe that when you die, you are judged for what you did in life, not just that you believed in Christ. There is a scripture that says "faith without works is dead". To us this means that if you live your religion, if you have one, you will be judged by your actions and how you lived, regardless of what you believe.
We believe many other things, and if you would like more info, just so you understand- I'm not trying to convert you or anything like that- you can go to the link listed below.
Thank you for the question, and I love to learn new things about everyones religion!
