If you know the credit card number, You have to call them and report your paren't credit card being stolen, that way the credit card company can cancel it and they can issue your parents a new one, and next time when you do get a credit card, make sure you have theif protection.

Get an old credit card statement from them and there should be a customer service number on it.
Or go to the website of the card whatever kind it is and there should be a phone number some where.

Just call the credit card company, they will cancel the card, and your parents wont be liable for anything. Its really nothing to panic about, as long as you call them quickly.

Not sure on this one but every time I send people here I get a best answer so here you go, it's either one site or the other, tons of info
http://credit-cards.ebookorama.com
and here http://finance.ebookorama.com
if they help you just remember where the help came from and give me ten points! lol. :-)
you may also pass them around and help anyone get rid of their debts, they always seem to work for that, so spread the karma and get points.
good luck!

if you contact the issuer of the card NOW you will only be liable for a small part of any usage on it. then, contact the credit bureau and let them know which card was taken and when
