I'm not even sure of the person who gave this sight here on Yahoo Answers,but PLEASE check out this sight.....http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/medicalalyssa.asp This little girl was diagnosed with "diffuse pontine glioma" It's a stem cell brain tumor.The sight gives details,but what her kindegartan teacher Is doing is trying to get people to send Alyssa a birthday card from people with 1 only 1 penny enclosed.She is putting the pennies in a jar to show little Alyssa how many people are thinking and care about her. This just tugged at my heart.Being a mother of three healthy girls,I can't imagine what this family is going through! If this winds up being a hoax(I really don't belive it is) then it didn't cost us much and we can all feel good about it anyway.In my family we are each going to send a card and a penny!Check out the sight but the address for Alyssa Bruno is 67 Cascade Road...West Henrietta,NY 14586.
