The easy way to cure it is with preparationH, but for small and easy to cure hemorrhoids. Surgery is the second alternative. It has two ways to be treated. The first way is the easier, but may lead to recurrency, and consist in cutting the external hemorrhoid without general anesthesia. You may feel a cold sensation in the area, but the pain disappears immediately after the release of the coagulated blood, and the pressure that it produced. the second is a hemorroidectomy, which refers to a surgical procedure that is more complicated than the first one, but better results. It requires general anesthesia, and it will remove the venous package involved in the hemorrhage. Good luck.

If it's very small, you may be able to shrink it with an over the counter cream. (Anusol, Preparation H) It's worth a try. Use a medicated wipe, such as Tucks, or just a cotton ball dipped in witch hazel for relief; this will help shrink the hemorrhoid also. Increase the fiber in your diet, to make your elimination process more efficient. (Straining to empty your bowels can cause hemorrhoids) If there is any bleeding, though, see the doctor right away.

Clean the area. I mean wash...wipe..wash... Hemeroids come from stress and a dirty build-up in that area. De-stress (slow down on major physical activites like sports 6 days a week) and keep that area clean..The hemeroids will subside by themselves without costly medical procedures!
