Renewable resources are things like trees. We can plant more of them (renew them) and not run out. Non-renewable resources are things like coal, oil, or natural gas (fossil fuels). Once we mine it all or use it all, it's gone, especially in our lifetimes since they take so long to form.

Renewable resources are things that can be replaced. For example, if you cut down a tree to make lumber, you can plant a new tree to replace the one you cut down.
If you use wind-power to generate electricity, that is a renewable resource, because you haven't destroyed the wind.
Non-renewable resources are things that can't be replaced. If you dig up coal from a mine, or copper from a mine, or take oil from a well, these things can not be replaced.
Interestingly enough, the non-renewable resources are the ones that cause the most trouble environmentally. Fumes from petroleum products are destroying the ozone layer, things made of plastic (a form of petroleum) won't compost or destroy, they just sit there forever, and if petroleum spills on the ocean, it pollutes the shoreline and kills sea animals.

It refers to resources nature provides. E.g. flora and fauna, air, ozone layer etc. Given time and care, they are keep producing and reproducing or re-building.
But when we use these resources at a rate that exceeds their reproductive rate, these renewable resources become non-renewable. That is what everyone is wrongly screaming about Global Warming. They are saying we are destroying the Ozone layer faster than it can rebuild itself. This is an unproven theory except by some tree-huggers, but you get the point.

renewable is just what it implies, the resource that is being use will regrow or replace itself when used up. Non-renewable is just as it implies too, the resource that is being use wil NOT rejuvenate itself after being used up.

reusable like medal non reusable like eggs you eat them thats it cant be reused.
