Hiccups are muscle spazms of your dighaphram( the muslce that makes you breathe out) hold your breath or drink some water they should go away

Sure-fire way, works EVERY time, but most people are too squeamish to do it.
Stick a finger down your throat until you gag a bit. It overrides the hiccup reflex and they disappear, instantly.
But, like I said, most people are too wimpy to do it. But if you'd had the hiccups for an hour as I did, you'd try anything too!!

I think there is no definitive answer as to what causes hiccups, however, a remedy that helps for me is, eat a tablespoon of peanut butter, believe it or not. It works!!!!

hiccups are your cilia in your esphagus swooshing the wrong way, it is sometimes caused by talking while eating or eating too quickly. you can cure them by bending over to an upsideown position and slurping (not sipping!) water three to five times.

hiccups occur when somebody is talking behind your back.
The only way to cure them, is to think of all the names of your friends until you think of the person who is talking about you. Once you think about that name, the hiccups will dissappear.

I am not sure what causes hiccups but you can try to drink water and plug your nose it works everytime for me ;)
I know it sounds wierd but sometimes it works

think about the last time you saw a white horse. I dont know why but that gets rid of them
