I tried PQI's sd cards once because it's cheap, but I think it's better than others because it works on everything that needs a sd. And it's reliable. So I don't buy their cards because it's cheap anymore, I buy their cards because of their quailty. Give it a try.
P.S. I'm actually interested in their U510 flash drive model right now, it's the size of a credit card. It's awesome.

I have a San Disk SD 1 GB card whether it's the best I don't know but I haven't been forced to confront problems and I found it on sale for only $30 with a rebate. So Best for the money probably San Disk.

I would recommend SanDisk. They offer great reliability.
