As a branch of Christian theology, Dispensationalism teaches biblical history as a number of successive economies or administrations, each of which emphasizes the continuity of the Old Testament covenants God made with His chosen people through Abraham, Moses and King David.

Dispensationalism is an interpretive or narrative framework for understanding the overall flow of the Bible, and is frequently contrasted with an opposing interpretation: supersessionism (also referred to as Replacement Theology). In simple terms, supersessionism posits that Christianity replaces Judaism, whilst dispensationalism teaches that Christianity restores lost elements of Judaism. Hence, many dispensationalists believe in restorationism.

It's the teaching of John Darby, claiming that God regularly sends "dispensations," which essentially means they don't like Judaism. They think God gave the world Judaism, but then she later gave the world Christianity.

They get technical about this, and they throw in a bunch of talking about the Rapture (this is where the idea of a "Rapture" came about in the first place), and so on. The Dispensationalists are the prototypical premillennialists, meaning they think a "Rapture" will happen, then there will be 1000 years of something or other (depends on whom you ask), and then comes the end of the world. Contrast with postmillennialism and the traditional Christian belief of amillennialism, in which the 1000 years of whatever mentioned in Revelation don't actually happen.

Most Christians recognize Revelation as an allegorical account of 1st century politics, and so they take the more reasonable position of amillennialism.

Theology.
The divine ordering of worldly affairs.
A religious system or code of commands considered to have been divinely revealed or appointed.

Dispensation

(Gr. oikonomia, "management," "economy"). (1.) The method or scheme according to
which God carries out his purposes towards men is called a dispensation. There
are usually reckoned three dispensations, the Patriarchal, the Mosaic or
Jewish, and the Christian. (See COVENANT ¯T0000916, Administration of.) These
were so many stages in God's unfolding of his purpose of grace toward men. The
word is not found with this meaning in Scripture.

(2.) A commission to preach
the gospel (1 Cor. 9:17; Eph. 1:10; 3:2; Col. 1:25). Dispensations of
Providence are providential events which affect men either in the way of mercy
or of judgement.

Im a Christian but I cant answer as I dont believe in Dispensationalism. At first glance it has biblical basis but looking further into it, comes very far away from scripture.

The Antichrist will be a highly charismatic individual energized by Satan to be able to seemingly solve all the world's problems and bring peace. He will be able to counterfeit miracles so well that it will "deceive the very elect" as the Scripture says. His mistake will be the time in which he attempts to take a seat in the third Temple to be built in Jerusalem and proclaim himself to be God. The people will see his deception clearly and events will transpire from that point that lead up to Armageddon.

It's definitely not my bag, but my experience with it suggests it is the end-of-days vision du jour of "Left Behind" fundamentalist evangelicals, complete with rapture and subsequent time of tribulation, followed by Christ's return to earth and his quite literal millenium-long rule from Jerusalem.

But I could be wrong, I'm really not sure.
