I don't think that the bible was very realistic! If so then you still can't stretch your skin 100 miles! I would say rubber. Try to stretch you skin an inch and it will kill!

Hmmm, I never recall reading that one in the Bible, but if it did, I am SURE it wasnt referring to the animals as being "stretched" that far, only that the man walked with out them at his side...
But, rubber will stretch a lot further than skin will, if the rubber is thin enough, and pliable enough. Skin only "appears" to stretch, but its probably only "loose" on your body, so it appears to stretch.

I've seen TV shows called me and my girlfriend lost 1,000 pounds. I've seen people in the hospital getting help for morbid obesity, and their skins looked as though it could hold a few more hundred pounds. I think it's skin...unless you ask, what stretches further a 3" piece of skin or rubber.
