Hello:
This answer is in response to your question posted on yahoo concerning THC in your system.
The time is so incredibly variable. THC is stored in fat tissue in your body. Depending on your body habitus that can make a big difference in how long it will take. Because THC is stored in fat, drinking lots of fluids really will not help get rid of the drug.
It also depends to a large degree on the amount of useage of marijuana. If you a are a light smoker then it will take much less time. If you are heavy smoker, ie. daily use then it will take a minimum of about 30 days to get it out of the system. As you can see, there are a lot of variables involved.
Exercise (aerobic) and weight loss if you are overweight may help to reduce the number of days that THC remains in the fat tissue.
To be on the safe side, I would say at least 30 days of no smoking at all, not even being in the same room if others are smoking.
There are three ways they can test for drugs in the system. urine tests are the most common and their cutoff values are much higher than blood tests which are far more sensitive than urine. If they do a hair follicle sample, then it can show any drug that you have ingested years ago.
I hope this helped answer your question and alleviated some of your concerns.
Regards,
Warren Shaffer, M.D.

Depending on how much you smoke is how long it will take to exit your system. If you smoke like everyday..it will take about 30 days for it to completely leave your system maybe more, but no less than that. That means no cheating in between. No, one puff or two. You must not smoke at all.

Good-Luck!!

It takes about 30 days. However, there are products on the net that can help you do it in 1 day. Look for it.
