Can someone provide me with some quote from the Qu'ran (Koran) that tells about women not being able to cut their hair?

There is no legal proof reported that forbids women from cutting their hair. However, they are prohibited to sell it, so as to block the means that may lead to committing sins such as making or wearing a wig, which is forbidden.

I noticed the other poster on your previous question claiming this. It's not true, I don;t know where she got it from. It's definately NOT in the Quran and Sunnah. I think she is confusing us with some other religion (Sikhism perhaps). There is no such rule. I would know as I get haircuts all the time.
