Anyone who has anything to do with Mormonism is a screaming idiot. I was raised Mormon and left when I was 17. It's a very damaging, hateful, cruel belief system.

I don't know how they can justify that from the Bible. Besides, what they are doing is illegal, given the girls ages. But......it's a hard call. Do we want another Waco?

I agree with whomever said we should pray for those people, and ask for guidance about what to do, if anything.

It's annoying that I had to read 4 pages just to see the guilty verdict. The quote at the end was good though "One thing I realized up there," he says, "is that you can't reason religion into people and you can't reason it out of them."

We are no one in this world to judge other people's believes ... people have the right to do what they want ... Gary Engels is just trying to put his nose into someone else's business, which it might be a childhood resentment.

He broke the law, what else is there to say. The law states that you can not do this, it matters not what your religious beliefs are, the law is the law. If you don't like it, go live in another country.
