hair twirling is a definatly a sign along with long eye contact, eyes are the window to the soul, also along with flirty smile and fluttering of the eyes, laughing at your jokes, and maybe sarcastic funny comments about you, different girls have different ways of flirting, shy people stare at the one they fancy when they arent looking, and when the one they fancy looks at them they look away... different people use different techniques, also when someones interested they look at certain points of the face in an upside down triangle, they look at each eye then the mouth and keep doing whilst in talking, also the point in her whole body is facing is a big give away, if her body is facing towards you, especially her feet then shes interested, other sign include unnecessary touching of the arm, hugging etc, erm also mirroring your actions is also a big give away to if some one likes you, say if they are sat infront of you pick up a pen or rub your nose or something, if the person mirrors your actions they are definatly flirting

Proper flirting is done with the eyes, it's not what you say but what you don't say. Hairflipping is gross and certainly very un-sexy.

LOL! I don't have any hair to flip, but I guess it could be. I smile a lot & jokingly make fun of them. I also complement & touch them a lot.

When we are in conversation I just look into his eyes then i wonder up and down with pleasure. With my eyes silly!!
