Absolutely. Only problem is, you didn't define who God was. The Bible says Jehovah, or sometimes Jesus depending on your interpretation (it definitely says Jehovah, it can be interpreted to say Jehovah and Jesus are the same person but it can be interpreted that they aren't also), The Qu'ran says Allah, the Amida Buddha says there are many gods and sometimes through karma any one can be a god at some point in their soul life, then there are all the various mythologies from around the world all of whom claim their own version of God. And I certainly don't believe all of those Gods should get praise (many are posers taking away praise from the real God), so we must be on our guard to get the right one.

There are times when i question my faith. Then there are the times when i go to church and beg God for the answers to my toughest quewstions about helping my friends in need. All the answers i have ever gotter from God and the church were right. For that is the one thing in my life right now that matters. For that reason, God is all knowing in my world and rightly deserves our praise and worship.

do you mean awesome (not awsome)? Since you have never seen or heard God speak, as noone has, how can you judge? How can you praise something invisible, that you can only know him by imaging him and telling yourself that something not there is there?
