That really depends on the lady. What's good for one may be another's worst nightmare. What will score points though (at least I think so) is if you try something unusual but not wacky. A picnic on a nice day or a visit to your favourite art gallery if it's during the day. Movies aren't good as you can't talk and get to know each other, plus you can't face each other and make eye contact either. Basically most of us girls like a little luxury so if you can spare a few quid, treat her to cocktails at a swanky hotel bar. It's got to be a nice place though, and if you can't stretch to more than one, go for a moonlight stroll - always a winner.

Picnic in the park, walk on the beach and chips on the pier, visit a zoo, aquarium, donkey sanctuary something with animals and that you can talk about while you're there and afterwards so the conversation wont dry up.

To a coffee is cool for the first date, talking is the best way to meet each other... but if she really likes you everywhere will be nice just because she´ll be with the guy she wants to... don´t you think?

Did dinner in a nice place ever cross your mind. I'd suggest you take her out for dinner. If that goes well, go and do something that you'll have a good time doing, and I don't mean sex

If you can drive then take her a run to somewhere pretty where you can watch the sunset.
Or, if that's too cheesy then go to a nice restaurant for some food and drinks.

Something quirky and fun that she won't forget in a hurry! Like a theme park or circus or something? Maybe a walk somewhere really lovely?
