After I finish college I want to join the navy. Can I enroll as an officer even if I didn't attend the school that's not on the list?

As long as you have your under graduate degree, I believe that you qualify for Officers Candidate School, provide you can pass a physical, endurance regimen, physiological exam and mental proficiency tests.

That will largely depend on what you hold a degree in, your academic history,as well as a few other things. You may qualify for OCS (Officer Candidate School), but keep in mind that your odds will be greatly increased if you have a degree in a technical field. I'm serving now with after going thru OCS once I graduated from Florida State and was accepted into the Aviation Program. I currently have several officers in our squadron who have gone thru OCS and are serving in logistical areas. The Navy is always looking for bright young officers so I would suggest contacting your nearest recruiter for additional information on any changes that have been made.

as long as you meet all the qualifications for OCS(Citizen, 4 year degree from an accredited school, pass the physical, no moral or legal issues, not over t e age limit, height& weight standards) you may apply. BUT if your degree isn't in a Tech major and your GPA isn't 3.5 or better, you better have a lot of other things to bring to the table in order to be competitive.

One simply cannot join as an Officer, there are stringent requirements that need to be met AND the Navy has to have a need for your skills.
